Hey, have a client who has shin splint syndrome and feels the surrounding muscles are also inflamed + feels fatigue in the leg.
Do you have any specific recommendations?
Niko for my own shins (8 years, inner medial the most painful part), I needed Soleus and Tib most. This means seated calf machine or KOT Calf Raise. I had to get MUCH stronger. Controlled tempos. Pauses at top and bottom. And I had to get my tibs MUCH STRONGER. Measurable load, full range, and again, pauses at top and bottom. Probably a lot of others like sled and Petersen step ups help! But I still think those two are the foundation for shin.
