In the off-season right now with my high school athletes(American football, various positions). Majority of them are sophomores and more than enough of them have some sort of knee issue they’re actively dealing with or recovering from. Been slowly implementing Atg now to the point that we’re going through Atg mobility and Zero on the days we meet. Most of these kids participate in multiple sports as well as lift at school. I’ve found success showing these guys that what we do in Atg will directly impact their ability in their conventional lifts and on the field. We have 7 on 7 competition (similar to flag football) starting in April, I’m hoping to get a solid full month of consistent Atg work in before then.
Martin that’s awesome! Make them slant squat and Nordic machines! That’s my best youth advice.
